# Verified developers

> What the blue badge means, and the minimum you need before you can ask for it.

A verified developer has a track record with Skyvex Software: their plugins have been reviewed by a person, they're reachable, and their account is secure. Verification belongs to you, the developer, not to one plugin.

## What you get

* **The blue badge** after your name, wherever your plugins show, so airlines and pilots know Skyvex Software has confirmed who you are.

Verification is about who you are. It doesn't change review: your versions are reviewed the same way as everyone's. See [How we review plugins](/guide/plugin-review).

## The minimum to ask

Ask from **Developer centre, Profile** once all of these are true. The page shows which ones you meet.

* Your developer profile has a support contact.
* Two-factor authentication is on for your account.
* Your account is at least 90 days old.
* At least 3 versions approved by a person at Skyvex Software, on a public plugin.
* No versions removed for malware or misuse.
* Your account is in good standing, with no breaches of the Plugin Terms.

These are the minimum to be considered, not a guarantee. Verification is at Skyvex Software's discretion and comes from a track record, so keep shipping well-behaved, well-reviewed plugins. A person looks at the request and your record: how your updates have gone (clean reviews, few rejections, nothing rolled back for breaking pilots) and how you answer pilots.

## Keeping it

Verification stays while your record does. Skyvex Software can take it away if that changes, for example if a version is removed for malware or misuse or the Plugin Terms are broken, and we tell you why. You can ask again once you meet the minimum again.
