# Branding

> Upload your airline's icons, logos and app icon, so Stratos and Console look like yours in light and dark.

**Settings → Branding** holds your airline's icons and logos. The square icon shows in Stratos's airline switcher, notifications and Console; the logo heads the Stratos dashboard. Upload one of each for light and dark, ideally on a transparent background.

## Upload an image

Drop an image on a tile, or use its upload button. The upload button replaces an image that's there, and the bin removes it. Each saves straight away, and pilots see it in Stratos shortly after.

| Image | Where it shows |
| - | - |
| **Light icon**, **Dark icon** | Stratos's airline switcher and notifications, and Console. Square. |
| **Light logo**, **Dark logo** | The top of the Stratos dashboard. Wide works best. |
| **App icon** | Pilots' desktop and taskbar when they add a shortcut to your airline from Stratos. Square, at least 512 × 512, and it can have its own background. Without one, Stratos uses your light icon on white (marked **Default**). |

Images can be PNG, JPEG or WebP: logos and the app icon up to 2 MB, the light and dark icons up to 1 MB.

Both logos are needed before you can list your airline in the Stratos airline directory (see [Listing](/console/settings-listing.md)).
