# Pilots

> Every pilot who has signed in to your airline in Stratos, with their flights, hours and landings, and a page for each pilot.

**Pilots** lists everyone who has signed in to your airline in Stratos, with their flights, hours and average landing. Open a pilot to see how they fly, their recent flights and landings, any support tickets they've opened, and the Stratos version they run.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **At a glance**
>
> * A pilot appears here the first time they sign in to your airline in Stratos.
> * Filter by **Status** (**Flying now**, **Active**, **Inactive**) or **Simulator**, search by name or pilot ID, and sort by any column.
> * A pilot's page has five tabs: **Overview**, **Flights**, **Landings**, **Support** and **Stratos**.
> * Copy a pilot's ID with the copy button at the top right of their page.

## Find a pilot

Open **Pilots** in the sidebar, under **Administration**.

* **Filter:** **Status** shows pilots who are **Flying now**, **Active** (finished a flight in the last 30 days) or **Inactive** (no finished flight in the last 30 days). **Simulator** goes by the simulator of each pilot's latest completed flight.
* **Search:** type a name or pilot ID in **Search pilots**.
* **Sort:** click a column heading. The list starts sorted by **Last flight**, with pilots who are flying now at the top.

Click a row to open the pilot.

> **The list's columns**
>
> | Column | What it shows |
> | - | - |
> | **Pilot** | First name and last initial. A dot shows beside pilots who are flying now. |
> | **Pilot ID** | The pilot's ID at your VA, such as HBV026. When your crew system doesn't send one, its internal pilot number. |
> | **Status** | **Flying now**, **Active** or **Inactive**. |
> | **Flights** | Completed flights at your airline. |
> | **Hours** | Block hours from those flights. |
> | **Avg landing** | Average touchdown rate in fpm. Flights with no recorded touchdown rate are left out. |
> | **Simulator** | The simulator of their latest completed flight. |
> | **Last flight** | When their last flight finished, or **Now** while they're flying. |
> | **Joined** | When they first signed in to your airline in Stratos. |
>
> **Display options** hides or shows columns and turns on **Relative dates** or **Compact rows**.

## Read a pilot's page

The top of the page shows the pilot's name and pilot ID, with their **Rank**, when they **Joined**, when they **Last flew** and their **Simulator**. **Pilots** takes you back to the list.

![A pilot's page: their name and pilot ID, Copy pilot ID, rank and other facts, the tabs, and their stats with the period switch](https://mintcdn.com/skyvexsoftware/bs1lqmNtmj0XilDu/images/screenshots/airline/pilot-light.webp?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=bs1lqmNtmj0XilDu\&q=85\&s=27cad2dc03ae456691cc3b0e57789e9f)

Three buttons sit at the top right:

* **All flights** opens the **Flights** tab.
* **Pilot plugins** opens your airline's [Plugins](/console/plugins.md) page, where you choose which pilots get which plugins.
* The copy button copies the pilot ID, for pasting into your crew system or a support reply. The icon turns into a tick.

When the pilot is flying, a **Flying now** card at the top of **Overview** shows their flight, route, aircraft, phase and departure time, with **Watch on the live map**.

### Overview

**Flying** at your airline, for the last **30d**, **90d** or **All time**:

| Card | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Flights** | Flights in the period, and where that puts them among your pilots ("Top 10% at Harbour Virtual"). |
| **Hours** | Hours in the period, ranked the same way. |
| **Average landing** | Their average touchdown rate, and what share of your pilots they land more softly than. |
| **Completed** | The share of their flights that were finished rather than cancelled, abandoned or crashed. |
| **Streak** | Days in a row they've flown, and their best streak. |

Below the cards: **Flying activity**, a calendar of the days they flew over the last year, then their **Recent flights** and **Latest landing**. A pilot with no flights yet shows zeros, with **Nothing yet** under the numbers.

### Flights

Every flight the pilot has flown at your airline, all time, with the same filters and search as [Flights](/console/flights.md). Click one to open it.

### Landings

**Landing rate** charts their recent landings, with their average beside your airline's. **How they land** counts their landings in each band, from **Under 100 fpm** to **Over 600 fpm**, all time. Below them, their last 10 landings with the arrival, aircraft, rate and score.

### Support

The [support tickets](/guide/support.md) the pilot has opened from Stratos, with their status (**To action**, **Waiting** or **Done**). Click one to open it in Support.

### Stratos

**Stratos now** shows the Stratos App and Stratos Core versions the pilot last ran, whether an update is available, their simulator and system, and when Stratos was last seen. **Pilot plugins** lists the plugins the pilot added themselves. Plugins your airline gives every pilot are on your Plugins page, not here.
